Leaving behind the sunny town of Elounda and travelling along the road that points right towards the Aegean, among the colours and aromas of the island of Crete in Greece, takes you to the splendid Villa Olivia - a private residence measuring 900 m2 immersed in 4,875 m2 of greenery and facing straight out to sea with its own private beach.

Designed by Studio D73 Architects Marco Vismara & Andrea Viganò and constructed by Mirum Group, Villa Olivia extends over three floors and has a guest house and summer house in the complex, which have been fully equipped to accommodate guests without impinging on the privacy of the main villa.

The villa's interior has a Mediterranean style with a contemporary vibe. The white, beige and turtledove colours have been carefully selected, and leave space to blue brush strokes that emphasise a connection with the location and the earth, water and sky. The materials include stone, marble, wood and wrought iron, and reinforce the continuity between the landscape and the architecture.

Everything has been designed to create a stunning structure combined with an interior styled with elegance - simple and efficient, the electric Pavone radiator by Caleido in the Ral 9010 shade adds a contemporary touch to rooms.

The electric Pavone radiator matches any type of setting, stylishly blending with the furnishings or taking centre stage on the wall if desired, where it is fitted for maximum convenience.

At one time radiators were fitted purely for functional reasons, and their 'only' purpose was to heat the house, whereas now the collections by Caleido offer so much more and are fully-fledged designer objects that combine functionality with aesthetic appeal.
